Eurostar & Historic Paris
Board the famed high-speed Eurostar and travel beneath the English Channel at speeds close to 186 mph, arriving at Gare du Nord in the heart of Paris. The afternoon belongs to the city's historic center: Île de la Cité, the newly restored Notre-Dame Cathedral, and dinner in the Latin Quarter, the centuries-old student district named for the Latin once spoken in its streets.

Monumental Paris
Today is monumental Paris. Stand beneath the Arc de Triomphe at the head of the Champs-Élysées, then step inside Les Invalides to see Napoleon's tomb beneath the gilded dome. At Place de la Concorde, where the Revolution's guillotine once stood, hear the square's story, then see Monet's Water Lilies at the Musée de l'Orangerie, steps away in the Tuileries. The ornate Paris Opera House rounds out the day. Want a palace day instead? Add an excursion to Versailles and its Hall of Mirrors.

The Louvre & Montmartre
Spend the morning at the Louvre, the world's largest art museum, entering through its glass pyramid to find the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, and eight centuries of royal palace around them. In the afternoon, climb Montmartre, the hilltop neighborhood where generations of painters lived and worked. At its crown sits Sacré-Cœur, the white-domed basilica with one of the finest views in Paris. Portrait painters still fill Place du Tertre below, and the red windmill of the Moulin Rouge, the cabaret that gave the world the cancan, marks the way down.

The Seine, the Eiffel Tower & a Final Evening
A sunset cruise on the Seine carries your group past Notre-Dame, the Louvre, and the bridges of central Paris. Then ride up the Eiffel Tower, the iron landmark built for the 1889 World's Fair, for a nighttime view over the City of Light. A farewell dinner closes the week in Paris.
